I love that you never know what you’re getting from S Doyle, but it’s gonna be good.
Jane is “different”, she’s kinda a super hero, not exactly with Super Powers, but with an unusual anatomy she’s able to do things others can’t. However that doesn’t mean her life is easy. She’s just starting college, uncertain of herself and what she wants from her future. Even with the support of her ACLU Lawyer Mom and life long best friend, she’s struggling to find her place in the world. Then along comes Logan, rich son of a recently convicted white collar criminal, he views himself as the Villain in our TeleNovella, because everyone has a role to fill, right?
I really enjoyed this exploration of the expectations being different or unusual places on someone, should they explore all the options or given in to the thing they seem destined to do. Framed in the world of a freshman, where every young adult is figuring out how to be self sufficient and a self starter as well as navigating new friendships and roles they get to plan. Can’t wait to find out what happens next in the finale of this duet!

Amazon Series Link: Stephanie Kay
Stephanie Kay’s San Francisco Strikers series keeps on getting better.
Amanda, a feisty lifestyle reporter, stays in San Francisco after the death of her beloved grandfather. Ben, our hero, is a media adverse hockey player and the fireworks commence. Amanda was the driver in this relationship. She had no qualms in calling Ben out on his shit. It’s a shame she wasn’t as dominant in her workplace. Can’t wait to see where the rest of the series takes us.

Stephanie Doyle writing as S Doyle gives us this unexpected but delightful finale to The Bride Series. Ruby, the unknown half sister of Jake Talley arrives at thanksgiving and disrupts everything. She’s running away from an abusive boyfriend & an absent mom. Cody has found a home at the Talley Ranch but fears losing it due to his drunkard father.

Daisy Prescott’s Love With Altitude series is just delightful. Justin, our Hero is more than just the Rodeo Cowboy everyone sees. Zoe is more than the floundering ex-city girl she’s become. Justin is kind of a Beta-hero, nurturing and chasing the romance a little harder than our heroine. Daisy’s books always leave you wanting to visit the locations she sets her books in giving me wanderlust.
